In HUNDSTAGE (Dog days) the viewers endure a seemingly unsolvable condition. It manifests itself as a circular playing field (the loop) on which two dogs, Quintus and Penny, face each other from opposite sides. As avatars in the game they navigate a shared family trauma and the speechlessness and numbness that surround it. As dogs from one family they both witness and carry this trauma while still continuing their search for connection. In this search, telephones and dice are the objects at their disposition.
