Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven is the oldest cultural institution in the coastal town on the Jade Bight. Since 1913, it has presented a broad range of contemporary art - painting, sculpture, environment, performance and sound art, since 1968 in a building inspired by Bauhaus and Brutalism.
