Art for Everyone

Free admission to exhibitions has long been a tradition at the Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven. Especially warmly invited are all those who are visiting the Kunsthalle for the first time. A visit to the Kunsthalle is this time also a journey into the world of islands near and far. The exhibition Sand and Salt – Islands Found and Lost uses photography, drawing, sculpture, painting, film, and installation to showcase the diverse characteristics of these small landmasses in the middle of the sea: whether it’s the solitude and isolation found there, the threats posed by climate change and marine debris, or their unique fauna.
