Nordwestkunst

Every two years, the Verein der Kunstfreunde für Wilhelmshaven awards the NORDWESTKUNST prize, which is endowed with a prize money as well as a solo exhibition with catalogue in the following year. Artists who were born, study, live or work in Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, the area of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen or in the Netherlands close to the border are invited to submit an application for the prize. The exhibition shows the works nominated for this award and offers a broad spectrum of painting, drawing, installation, video art, sculpture and performance.

The deadline for applications for the current competition was December 1 2020 (postmark).
